The Ottawa Open Source Networking Meetup consists of presentations from representatives in the tech industry, as well as a mingling period to meet and interact with professionals from the ICT Sector! Dan Cornilescu, Founder and President of ApartSW Consulting Inc
Dan will review the basic principles behind CI systems based on pre-commit verifications and highlight their advantages over traditional CI systems, emphasizing their potential for superior scalability. Dan will also present an overview of the ApartCI architecture, functionality and operation, with comparisons to the Gerrit+Zuul system currently used by OpenStack and other related projects.

6:45-7:15 - Introducing Tungsten Fabric, the multicloud multistack SDN project from Linux Foundation

Boris Mimeur, Director Engineering Operations at CENGN and Tungsten Fabric Ambassador
This presentation will help you understand the history and value of the Tungsten Fabric project. Boris will review the standards-based protocols and all the necessary components provided by the project for network virtualization and security including an SDN controller, virtual router, analytics engine, published northbound API’s, hardware integration features, cloud orchestration software and an extensive REST API. Boris will also share the options for quickly getting TF up and running for parties interested in contributing to the project.
