Happy New Year to all ODLUG New Englanders. We've been targeting early 2016 for our second session and as end-2015 approached we agreed to hold a joint session in January with the Boston Software Networkers.
For this first MeetUp we will have one NFV talk, one ODL talk, and a general brainstorm on future topics that are of highest and emergent value. In the next several days ahead, we will announce the speakers, talk titles and the abstracts.
I believe that visibility, analytics and management will be at the top of most minds and I will pursue the NFV talk around these key characteristics. I would appreciate hearing from any of you with additional ideas around this or other topics for our inaugural meeting.
Bring your ideas, your challenges and your appetite. Red Hat hosts us and the pizza and drinks will be provided by Brocade. Looking forward to seeing all of you to start this new year.
(Thank you to Mark Presti of Boston Software Networkers for the copy, which I shamelessly stole for our page: DN) \
• Developing for Applications for ODL:
Dave Lenrow of Huawei will share a presentation and his observations on the importance of policy enforcement and how Intents approaches the problem of network QoS enforcement for ODL.

We will also review open software development news and will take suggestions for topics at upcoming meetups.
